Whenever something bad happens, people always immediately jump out with the "she should be shot" or "sick the pit bulls on her" or "Lex Talionis, Gracchus!" No one ever comes out with the, "I hope the justice system takes a fair, balanced, and slow recourse with this allegedly criminal woman."

Here's another one:
http://www.wreg.com/Global/story.asp?S=3430504Memphis - A comforter... some lotion and bath products... a few things from Sears -- things a mom obviously considers more important than her own daughter.
Tommy Ashker says, "I was pulling out of the parking lot and looked over and saw a girl in the back of the car." It was about 4 o'clock when Ashker spotted the 11 year old girl with cerebral palsy locked in the car at Wolfchase Galleria. Ashker says, "It was hot. The sun was really beaming and there was no wind so it was excruciatingly hot. You could tell in the car she was burning up." He flagged down another shopper to help.
Michael Bivins says, "After I was unable to get her attention and wake her up... she was unresponsive... we called security." Wolfchase mall security called Memphis Police and together they got the girl out of the car and rushed her to LeBonheur Children's Medical Center.
But they had to wait quite some time to arrest the girl's mom. She was still inside... busy shopping. Major Steve Cole says, "We were here about 2 hours and she came out with the shopping bags."
Tommy Ashker says, "If the child were a perfectly ok child, she probably would have been shopping with the mother, but because she has disabilities. I think she just left her in the car." Police charged the mother with the misdemeanor of child neglect... neglect responsible parents simply can't comprehend. Michael Bivins says, "It just boggles my mind. It is just not something I can wrap my mind around because I cannot comprehend the person who would be so careless."
At last check the young girl was doing fine. She was expected to be released from the hospital Friday night. Its not clear if she'll be released to her mother or not -- that's up to the Department of Children's Services.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
