Eh, I don't know. I mean, that really makes it impossible to get elected without the support of the older people. For example if one person votes for:
MR. A he could have (5)
whereas with registrations in 2001/2 it would take 2 voters to get to (6) [not bad]
but for registrations for 2003/4 it would take 3 voters to get to (6).
And for registrations for 2005, ti would require 5 voters to get to (6).
If the situation were changed next year, it would look like this:
1998,1999- 5 votes
2000,2001- 4 votes
2002,2003- 3 votes
2004,2005- 2 votes
2006,****- 1 vote
In my proposed system it would be:
1998,1999- 4 votes, 4 people
2000,2001- 4 votes, 3 people
2002,2003- 3 votes, 3 people
2004,2005- 2 votes, 3 people
2006,****- 1 vote, 3 people
It seems fairer.

I think you should need the old timers support to get in... again, who knows the site better. It also helps the candidates who did great things for the site but are no longer around. Many of the new people don't know who they were, and don't realize how much some people contributed to make Apolyton what it is
