You misunderstand. These things go in cycles. Capitalism vs Communism threads, computer threads, hard and theoretical science threads, political threads of many degrees. The list goes on. This forum isn't just populated by teens and youngsters; there are a lot of professionals in many fields who were also drawn, nay compelled, to this place.
The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

Not quite -- more students here in a variety of fields than accomplished professionals. We do have some professionals here, yes -- such as doctors -- but many more are either undergrad, graduate, or post-grad students.

Great idea - what should we save from our civilization? basic observations on the physical universe!

I'm sure anyone discovering these long lost relics of an ancient civilization will be utterly fascinated that we knew how to count.

I firmly believe that I will soon be in this situation and I already know what I am going to write.

"The fact that you are reading this, means that all human beings are dead. Just so you know, George W Bush was responsible.

                Signed:

They might be fascinated if they didnt already know how to "count". Even if they did, at least they would give us credit

I think mathematics dont represent cultural bias, and are a human achievment.
