    We still have one grandmother left, but she's estranged from the entire family. She had untreated diabetes for decades, and it seems to have driven her insane, though she was never all that decent a human being to begin with. Oddly enough, she called me about a month or two ago, after not having spoken to me in about a decade. She thinks her children are trying to kill her.
    Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

      It's good to have memories of those who gave meaning to your life. I'm not sure if I agree with Tom Brokaw that they were the "greatest generation" or not, but they accomplished some amazing things. I'm sorry for the loss of you both.

        Che, my condolences. However, she did live a full life. Both my grandmothers died in the 90's as well.

        When I was very young, there were still people around that remembered the Civil War. Soon, there won't be many left who remember WWI.
