 Without a doubt
 Calvin and Hobbes

I really liked Bloom County, but it is so tied into the 80s...still it was the best of the 'politically motivated' strips I have ever seen.

 Far Side is pure genius.

 As for today, I like
Get Fuzzy and Brewster Rockit: Space Guy but neither holds a candle to the above three.Yes, let's be optimistic until we have reason to be otherwise...No, let's be pessimistic until we are forced to do otherwise...Maybe, let's be balanced until we are convinced to do otherwise. -- DrSpike, Skanky Burns, Shogun Gunner

I don't follow any comics in magazines (except the occasionally brilliant Vastarannan kiiski in Rauhan Tervehdys, but 1. that's not really a comic and 2. only Finns, and only certain privileged Finns, have ever heard of it anyway), and to be honest, the webcomics that I follow right now are really rather sucky in the end. Therefore... hm, I'll vote for PLIF.

I don't know why I can't keep reading the *good* comics like Sluggy Freelance or GPF regularly. I've never actually even gotten through the archive of Sluggy... and even when I did get through GPF's archive, I just kind of forgot it. Something is wrong with me .
