That score, btw, puts me in the upper 99%. But I knew that in 9th grade.

So, basically, you do nothing. You help the world in no meaningful way whatsoever.

I was hoping someone would call him on that. Getting a barely notable SAT score seems to be his only accomplishment in life.

A perfect score, moron, in 1978 was 1600. Your new "dumbed down version" is not as high a score, after adjusting for inflation. Math, reading comprehension. and you did not, repeat, did not have to have gone to an "elite" school and no one took SAT study courses the way they today. They weren't even available.

I believe I have a sixteen hundred combined on the two old sections of the SAT. And I didn't miss a question. No matter how you try to twist the math, a perfect score is a perfect score. And you didn't get one. Frankly, if I had missed 60 points on the SAT, I would have taken it over again.

You can't take it again- you get one "real" shot at it. They may let you take it again, for the money, but it won't count.

For you to have scored 1600 on the original SAT (no way) you would be a Einstein, literally. Obviously you are not, so why bother lying? Now, you may have scored a 1200 on the original, which could have translated to a hypothetical 1600 on a dumbed down one (1980 was the first), of that I can believe, but, I can just feel your lack of critical thinking skills.

How? Because you did not attack the Minnesota Twins Study, none of you have, instead, you attack personality traits- perceived personality. That, in and of itself, is an indicator of an average intelligence.

They do let you take it again nowadays. I don't disagree that people today are total dumbasses. I think some participants of this thread have proved that.

Scoring a 1600 on the original SAT didn't take an Einstein. Hundreds of people did that every year. You weren't one of them.

Oh, and I'm not at college yet. I hope to go to Yale, like my sister (class of 05) mother, (73) and father. (73) Incidentally, they all scored higher on the SAT than you did.
