Seriously, though, I am sure we're all very happy that you're in the clear.
And once again, good job defending yourself. Next time, try not to stab the guy, though, imho.
Well, I was presemted with a difficult situation...and if I had my way, no stabbing would have taken place...
Unfortunately, he didn't let go of my jacket, at which point I was forced to use force...though thankfullly, it ended up in my call, though it could have ended uip in somebody elses call

Anyway, it is good you won't be charged. You had a good defense though. It was his knife, which meant that the assumption is that he pulled it out. You were confronted with someone wielding a knife and in the struggle he was stabbed twice.

A similar thing happened around where I live last week where a guy got mugged and he stabbed the mugger. In this case the mugger died, but the cops aren't pressing charges since it was in self defense.

Well, I need to see BPD tomorrow morning. The guy confessed to trying to steal my wallet, etc, but says that I pulled the knife on him
Hopefully the blood wasn't coated in blood and thus can't get his prints off of it. Though if it is he said, she said, I think you'll win due to your social status (yes, people who are of a higher class do end up getting the benefit of the doubt).

Oh, and nye was giving you good advice. No need to snap at him for it.

Hmmm, with all the blood, sweat and Imperial fingerprings, the mugger's fingerprints might not show up.
Imran's right (as always). You have a huge leg-up on any credibility call. You're the victim and a student. The other guy has a long rap sheet and admits he was trying to rob you. Who do you think the jury is going to believe?
You'll be fine Mister Fabulous. I'd worry more about the dude coming back than getting charged.
