  • The Apolyton Motion Picture Discussion Group - June Nominations

Might as well get this thing going as promised.

Same rules as the sci-fi group. Nominate a movie you've already seen. We'll vote on the noms and discuss the film selected.

A couple of new rules, given we're talking about a different medium:

    1. You can only nominate films that have been released worldwide on DVD/VHS.
    2. No spoiler boxes. If you don't want to know what "Rosebud" means, don't read the thread.
    3. If there are sequels, then the sequels are also under discussion.

Since I wanna get some participation going, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and nominate the LOTR trilogy.

So we can nominate an entire series?

    In that case Star Wars

Let's wait a bit on the SW nomination (or limit it to the first three films) as the cycle isn't completed yet. However, the SW films will likely be my only exception to rules 1 & 3.

I was kind of joking, since I'm sure it'll be discussed decently on and after May 19th.

Also, I get my SW trivia discussions and big picture force based discussions at SDMB .

Instead, let me nominate "O'Brother Where Are Thou".

No need to hide, it's an objective fact.
