Well, Empire strikes back is considered the best of the Star Wars movies mainly because the Empire and Vader win. The problem with a lot of Sci-Fi is the lack of tension that is caused by a somewhat stupid and laughable group of bad guys. We know that the Empire won this round as well, so the story will be really interesting as it unfolds.

As well, if Darth Vader doesn't turn the Empire red with innocent blood, he would be the archvillian he truly was in the latter three episodes.

Because that opening "weekends" start on the day of release and end on Sunday. It gives them a nicer statistic for the books.

We haven't gone out yet. With Star Wars not out the whole plan might colapse.

Boy, do I look forward to the new movie. I loved the 3 first, liked the two next to a certain degree, and hapve hopes for the sixth after seeing reviews/previews/info for a while now, sounding good.

: Jar Jar Binks being tortured to death by Anakin.
He slices off Jar Jar's legs and fries them, making the galaxy's largest order of frog legs ever.

.....................and he makes Jar Jar watch as he eats them.

the body count including a corridor of "youngling" corpses -- Jedi children cut down by his light saber.
who doesn't want to see a hallway full of corpses? my kind of movie.

Yeah, I saw that on CNN... looks like Anakin is going to be seriously bad ass... kill those kids, and then kill the people whose cell phones go off during the movie

The "light side" of the force had dominated the galaxy for too long, allowing things to get seriously unbalanced, so he had to kill off those kids as well as the adult Jedi in order to even the odds and bring the universe back into balance - just in the nick of time, too. Seriously, you don't want to see what happens to the universe when The Force is unbalanced. It ain't pretty.

As I noted before, the whole series has always been about Darth Vader. I wonder if Lucas planned all along that this, the last movie, would be the movie where Darth Vader assumes his menacing identity?
