Obviously a joke, otherwise you should surrender your finnish citizenship and move to sweden.

I had no idea as well. Also I have no idea if a good hacker can really get so easily around a firewall without being somehow detected.....isn't that the entire point of having a fw (that he can't then, of course)?

It's just a shortcut to the save function on the File menu

I didn't know what it is either

                  Adagio,

Your tech teacher may not know what Ctrl-S is, but I guarantee he knows 1000 times more things that you and your classmates don't.

                      Word

We have this dude that we work with that is 26 and STILL acts like that.

He acts like everyone around him is an idiot, and people are really starting to get sick of it.

But in his case, he's overcompensating.

I thought ctrl+s was common knowledge? I don't think I've ever met one who knows just a bit more than average about computers who don't know that shortcut

As I said I thought that ctrl+s was common knowledge. I know that he knows a lot of stuff that neither me nor my classmates knows, that's why he's a teacher. Everybody in my class was a bit shocked that he didn't even know that

Well, how many knows that you can drag popups in SMAC/X with the mouse ?
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

like it's that difficult to go up to file and hit save.

anyways I know about ctrl-s for saving games in civ and smac. And that's what is important.
