As I said I thought that ctrl+s was common knowledge. I know that he knows a lot of stuff that neither me nor my classmates knows, that's why he's a teacher. Everybody in my class was a bit shocked that he didn't even know that

like it's that difficult to go up to file and hit save.

anyways I know about ctrl-s for saving games in civ and smac. And that's what is important.
