I don't know, you'd have to ask those I've met in person.

In person PH is less communist/socialist in real life. Now he has a decent paying job I see him becoming an avowed capitalist though he would still never admit it.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

I am a bit more aggressive online, simply due to the nature of the internet. Otherwise, I yams what I yams.

If your online persona wasn't your real persona wouldn't you lie in this thread anyway?

I have a feeling Mike is just as difficult in real life as he is online...

Me? My language is cleaner online.

            Difficult?

I'm more like my real persona at CG than I am here. This place seems to turn people into an argumentative arse.

                  That's not arguing it's contradiction.

For me its actually the opposite.
I often do not participate in threads online even though I feel the urge, while I rarely miss an occasion IRL, just because it feels more like a waste of time online, since you are discussing with parodies of people most of the time...

I know many people here with which its impossible to have a decent argument on Poly, but Im sure it would be way different IRL.

I come here to talk about crap, have fun and make ribald comments. Fortunately, there are a few other Apolytoners who are the same.

It's these po-faced, serious people that are wrecking the internets.

I'm much the same. I sit quietly until the opportunity to make a poor joke presents itself. Occasionally the rising tide of ignorance compells me to actually continue a conversation.
