Stinking Fwench Government Whores Sell Soul (again) and Tiawan to Chinese Commies

Don't worry, they're only blinded by the nationality.
If Bush had done exactly the same (but sold Boeings instead of Airbuses), quite a few people in this thread would sing a radically different tune.

If Bush did the same thing I'd be calling for his impeachment! By the way, I would be willing to personally fight to defend Taiwan even if they have modern weaponry. Its worth noting its not easy for China to sucessfully invade Taiwan even with their military modernization.

How well are you going to like the US saying that the nuclear arsenal guarantees Tiawan's independence?
I seriously think our glorious diplomacy wouldn't care any bit, if the Chinese continued to buy weapons nonetheless. Actually, this action might even ensure the perpetual status of Taiwan as a "rogue province", which would give our diplomats something to curry Chinese favour with, and I imagine they're all for it.

So, the world going back to the brink of nuclear annihilation would be a good thing?
btw, where else do you think it'll wind up if confrontation becomes the norm, again?

You are the person who suggested the US would escalate to nuclear threats, which is completely ludicrous.

You'll notice I said "for our diplomats". You may have spotted a tad of hostility from my part toward my government. As long as the tension gives us a way to sell more Airbuses and Rafales, I'm sure they give it a

If confrontation becomes the norm again, you'll have several imperialist powers who'll fight by proxy, but who'd be too afraid to fight directly against each other. Kinda like the cold war, but with more trade, with less ideological polarization, and with a number of imperialists that may exceed two.

Nice world you dream of. It ends in big puddles of radioactive goo in a few scenarios.
Is it worth it?
