Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

    • Tons? A few of 264/5 ones...
In the times when church had little to say about who's going to be the pope, actually. I recall 2 cases. Perhaps there have been more.
You could say that there were some popes that had some tendencies. It'd be irrelevant, dumb and rude, but at least would've been true. But You're pumping it up like a baloon until when it separates from reality and are apparently proud of it.

          • I've noticed that. As I've already claimed, atheism is a religion.

            • Who says I'm an atheist?

And no, it isn't btw, you want it to be a "religion" so there(s still the hope and possibility of converting them. Alas, they have evolved and moved on.

                Who are You, then?

For me, religion is stance in spiritual matters. Atheism falls into that cathegory.

                • Herreson , read Laz's historical filth articles he spent a fair amount of time and effort writting them and they are indeed historically accurate. I believe he's compiling them for a book.

It is in no way and exaggeration to say that the Catholic Church has had an on going problem with pedophilia going back centuries. They haven't even begun to deal with it and having a person who continues to deny there is a problem and who then claims it's a giant conspiracy between Jews, Communists, Liberals, atheists, and god knows who else is not going to help solve the problem.

You only think that because you are incapable of thinking beyond the constraints of your dogma...

That makes it sound like you want to be whipped. Are you a masochist? Eww.

I wish I'd never made that joke.
                        No you don't, stop lying.

                            • I just hope he will survive long enough for people to actually form an impression of him. Not like John Paul I who died after a month.

I imagine it must be terribly stressful for most people to 'suddenly' find themselves in the position of God's substitute on earth, once it starts to really sink in. It can't be an easy task preparing oneself for such a giant responsibility, not to mention the entire sanctity of it all. But from what I've heard so far, he seems like he has the right stuff for this, so he'll probably be all right.
