They've put one of the episodes, unedited and with no adverts, on the official site. I checked it out and now I'm addicted.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Yep, it's pretty good. I'm just wondering what is going to happen when they get to Earth and find no one worshipping the old gods, the "lords of Kobol", but instead half of the population worshipping "God"?

It's the best thing on television. Imperfect people in a sci fi show? Nooooo.

                Are these remakes?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

I'd almost completely erased that Babylon zoo song "spaceman" from my memory before they started using it in the promos for BG. Consequently I have not yet seen the show.

I got the pilot show off Kazaa and didn't expect too much of it it be honest, but it was very good, now I've got a few more episodes on my HD but I'm waiting til I get the full season so i can watch them all in order.

It's a very good show, I get to see it occasionally and it always leaves me wanting more. I'm also developing a taste for Firefly, another good "real people" sci-fi show.

BG is very well writen, and for the most part the cast works well-its good TV, period. The effects are nice, thought used sparingly, which is OK as long as the story is good.
