I have no problem with pharmamists who won't sell such medication provided they clearly state that beforehand. I don't find a compelling interest to force these pharmacists to act against their morals.

Exactly. It doesn't bug me that they're taking a stand; it bugs me that they think they can take the stand but should be shielded from any consequences of their actions.

Reminds me of these idiot leftist protesters I knew in college. They openly disrupted a talk by CIA director William Casey, which was brave in its own way -- then called in every chip they could think of (alumni parents, professors they'd befriended, etc.) to keep the university from disciplining them -- which was sheer cowardice and a betrayal of their own principles.

But again, this is about more than carrying a product; its about picking and choosing who to serve (as with refusing to give the pill to single women). That's just bullsh*t.

There is a problem with only providing it to married women though.

I never said I approved of them discriminating based on marital status. If they don't want to sell it, that's fine. If they do sell it, though, they need to sell it to everyone.
