There is no King of Monaco. The formal name of the head of State is Prince, AFAIK.

His Serene Highness Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, Duc de Valentinois, Marquis des Baux, Comte de Carlades, Baron de Buis, Seigneur de Saint-Rémy, Sire de Matignon, Comte de Thorigny, Baron de Saint-Lô, de la Luthumière et de Hambye, Duc d'Estouteville, de Mazarin et de Mayenne, Prince de Château-Porcien, Comte de Ferrette, de Belfort, de Thann et de Rosemont, Baron d'Altkirch, Seigneur d'Isenheim, Marquis de Chilly, Comte de Longjumeau, Baron de Massy, Marquis de Guiscard.

He was also married to Grace Kelly (I had to look that up because I had the name Gene Kelly in my head, and I knew that wasn't right). Edit - And Diss's link tells us that anyway.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

What's funny is that all his titles (except his principality over Monaco) are now completely irrelevant, thanks to the fact France is a republic

Well, one could argue that when the money now spent on the royals could be spent somewhere else, which in turn would get an equal revenue to what it does now, with the added bonus of not having royals.

And others might argue that without the royals many people might chose to spend tourist dollars somewhere else entirely resulting in a dead loss to the British tourism industry, and that not having the royals would not be a bonus.

Why do you care? Canada doesn't get the tourist money...

I would say Canada probably has more involved than Belguim, or say, the United States.

I bet if we kept the queen in a cage more tourists would want to see her.

                              ??

She was silly too. I hated the royal family even worse back then because she garnered so much news attention for what reason? Some crusade against landmines? Like she had the power for countries to neglect national security. And she wasn't very hot either. Maybe if she grew her hair long...
