Not that there will ever be any revolution in the west, the working class is to divided, stupid and comportable with capitalism as it is. They don´t want change as long as they can stuff thier mouths with McDonalds, drive their SUVs and watch the mindnumbingly stupid excuse for tv-programs. Oh, and drink themselves to oblivion every other friday of course. **** that! ...or rather I don´t care anymore. Let the whole ****ing world burn, I´m doing what I think is right and I´m not concerned about anyone else but myself and my family and friends. I´m tired of preaching to people, trying to convince them what´s right. Tired of giving and giving and giving to a cause that no one cares about, the working class wouldn´t piss on us, even if we were on fire... If they are stupid enough to ignore the warnings, it´s not my problem. We´re all gonna die anyway, sooner or later.

Uh, yeah, sounds like you're quite the employment catch.

Of course, this isn´t something I would bring up on a job interview.

Try it out. If I can do it in the US with an exwife and kid you can surely do it in Sweden.
Besides they´ve changed the way you pay back. If you don´t get a job in the 6 months after your exams you´re basically screwed finacially...
Aren't you going to be eventually screwed financially anyway without an education?

Obviously. But have you thought about the possibility that your overall view towards society might be translating itself into subconscious actions/behaviors that might be sabotaging your job-search/interviewing efforts?

I mean, here's the thing: it's hard to do something if you don't believe in it to some extent. If you don't believe in "the capitalist system" (whatever the hell that means), then it's going to be hard to join and enter the "capitalist system" because any efforts you make will be half-hearted or desultory.

Yeah, it´s the same in Göteborg and Stockholm.

I have tried it out. And there´s not any guarantees that I will get a job when I graduate. Even IF I could go the distance of 3-4 years.

I think you´re screwed either way. Might as well try to minimize the damage

I never believed in any of the jobs that I had even when I was a raving conservative.

I´m well aware that I will have to work in the "capitalist system" I´ve accepted that, there´s not like I can escape it. It IS a reality. But there might be something subconsciuos at work, who knows?

Of course there's no guarantee, but you are taking the "one day at a time" thing way to literally. You have to make some investments and take some risks in life.

I was once unemployed for 7 months and it was enough to drive me insane...hated it...

Ignorance, ignorance, ignorance. I am as left winged as Kamrat, perhaps even more so, but it doesn't render me incapable of working. On the contrary, it makes me rather diligent and committed due to my ethics about doing the right thing...

I wonder if being unemployed by choice is different than being unemployed because no one will hire you. If I were rich being unemployed wouldn't be quite so bad, but eventually I would want to work I guess.

Which is why he shouldn't join the capitalist system. Take up a craft! Make your own buisness or find like minded people and form/join a collective, don't be a wage slave.

When it comes to doing your job I think it only hurts a communist if they went into the business (Accounting /Finance /Marketing) side of business. If they're a lab tech or a production guy, I really don't think it matters.

Of course viewing society in general in a negative light, could harm you from fully reentering society.

Every job I've had I've believed in when I started, it didn't always last.
