  • That too cause as we all know pure alochol doesnt freeze

Everything freezes. For alcohol (C2H5OH), isn't the freezing temperature around 204 Kelvin?

      • 1 kelvin = 1 degree celcius. The difference being that 0 Kelvin is absolute zero, so the freezing point of water would be 273 Kelvin (actually, it something like 273.somethingorother, but I don't care thtat much).

Its probably a bit hard to find a commercial freezer that will take something to, what, -220 C?

Woops, Krill is right about the Kelvion scale- I thought 0 C was closer to 400 K.

          • ok, so I made a mistake with the melting point. It is 159 K, slightly lower than expected...

Gepap, I think I kinda implied that it woould not freeze in a commercial freezer. Perhaps I should have made it clearer.

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay.
