Ahhh --- but I understood it so it was very good for other people with very poor french
C'est veuz dire, que mon francais, cest assez bon pour le Canada?
(that is to say, my french is good enough for Canada
)
(BTW, im translating everything cause the mods have warned against untranslated non-English, in case we're saying unnacceptable things or whatever - note this does not apply to Finnish, the Finns being the only polytubbies capable of self-policing )
"A person cannot approach the divine by reaching beyond the human. To become human, is what this individual person, has been created for.” Martin Buber
English is first language obviously, I can read French and Spanish and get a rough idea of what's going on... I'm hard pressed to speak both but writing is slightly easier. I find Latin harder. I can just about get the jist of German but reading and writing isn't going to happen. My Hebrew is extremely rusty, and I'm trying to teach myself Sanskrit with very limited success.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
What, are people incapable of learning two languages at once?
too complicated for the poll.
Donc, je ne suis pas certain le correct numbre des langues que je (scratches head for how to say should) repondre a ton question. (gad i mangled that and i know it)
Donc, je ne sais pas le nombre correct de langues que je doive donner pour repondre a votre question.
By your definition, I cannot count Mandarin or Cantonese because I have am almost illiterate in those languages, but those are the languages I speak best besides English. On the other hand, I am on the borderline for Spanish, French, and Italian because of the writing commentary part. So, anywhere from 1 to 4, but I think of myself as being 5.
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
who else voted 5? Anyway, I probably should have voted something less
1+ 0.5 * 5 = 3.5

German with some effort. I did write my dissertation in German, but I still have trouble expressing myself clearly and without hesitation in German, hence the 0.5 for that language.

Very strong accent, but I can listen and be understood without problems (at least that's what I think. Ask Boris, Drogue and DanS for confirmation )
