In the original, we've got enough downtime shown to make it work, but I still thought it worked better with the extra scenes. For the record, I'll take either version and not complain. I simply like Redux a little bit better.
Same here. The original was my favourite movie, then it got even better The extra scenes just added to the original sense of surrealism, insanity and one mans personal journey into hell. I must have seen the movie like 15 times...

Fight club and pulp fiction as well as all of the original planet of the apes movies were great too.

                                5. Peter Pan (2003 version)

                                6. The Fifth Element
                                7. Toy Story

                                10. Gladiator

                                11. The Matrix

                                15. A Series of Unfortunate Events
                                16. The Sting

(1-5) are pretty much set in stone at the moment. I do not expect LOTR to ever be displaced either...

(6-20) could very well be interchangable. (After seeing Gladiator again, it moved up a lot on my list - and I expect Series of Unfortunate Events to do the same - Star Wars continues to drop down though...)
