Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Because AN is a surreal journey as much as anything. I thought the extras did a good job playing to that aspect. They weren't the most exciting scenes, but the movie doesn't work on that level if they only show the highlights. In the original, we've got enough downtime shown to make it work, but I still thought it worked better with the extra scenes. For the record, I'll take either version and not complain. I simply like Redux a little bit better.
Same here. The original was my favourite movie, then it got even better The extra scenes just added to the original sense of surrealism, insanity and one mans personal journey into hell. I must have seen the movie like 15 times...
Lemme guess, you own a gun, right?? Am I right?? A ghost told, so I must be right!!.

actually I went and bought apocalypse now redux, and I haven't gotten around to watching it yet . so I can't say which is better. That's why I just voted for the original.
Fight club and pulp fiction as well as all of the original planet of the apes movies were great too.

You won´t be dissapointed by redux if you liked the original

(1-5) are pretty much set in stone at the moment. I do not expect LOTR to ever be displaced either...
(6-20) could very well be interchangable. (After seeing Gladiator again, it moved up a lot on my list - and I expect Series of Unfortunate Events to do the same - Star Wars continues to drop down though...)
