  • Apolytoner's Favorite Films

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suspect each of us would compose entirely different lists of their favorite films. I suggest that each of us give a list of his or her ten most favorite films, and then, from that series of lists, cull a consensus list by totalling the numbers the Apolytoners' list. (A film ranked 1 by a member would receive 10 points, for example.)

    My list:

    1. Empire Strikes Back
    2. Saving Private Ryan
    3. Babe
    4. Return of the King
    5. Dances with Wolves
    6. Lawrence of Arabia
    7. From Here to Eternity
    8. Midnight Cowboy
    9. Titanic
    10. Gladiator
