Dave, is your twin brother James locked in a steel cage somewhere? Maybe you should feed him.

Fine. Now how do I use this to my advantage?

        James Kozak.

        Weird dude...

Damnit, I have to revive this thread.

Some guy just strode confidently up to my desk and boomed out, "Dave!"

          I said, "no, I'm John."

He said, "Oh, sorry, I'm looking for Dave Xblkrupf [we'll let that stand in for my unique and hard-to-pronounce last name]"

          I said, "I'm John Xblkrupf"

He said, "Oh, okay, John then..."

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, WHY "DAVE?!"

          There, I feel better now...

Maybe he said "Hey!" and you just heard it as "Dave!" because of a hard to diagnose ear disorder?

                No wonder people get confused.

Phil is closer to Bill than Dave to John, though.

The wrong name I'm always called in "Bob." I even answer to it now.
