The Rams have really bad salary cap problems too. I wish they would get rid of Orlando Pace. Can someone tell me how he is worth the $8M they will end up paying him next year when the offensive line as a whole sucks?

forget Bledsoe and Garcia; a younger (and better) QB is on the market in Kurt Warner.

Did you say YOUNGER is a reason to pick up Warner?

Warner is older than Bledsoe by a year. And Garcia is older than Warner by a year. Age ain't a reason to pick up Warner.

he just seems younger since he hasn't been in the NFL long. But he's way old.

I'd recruit Ryan Leaf over Warner.

i forgot Warner had that stint in NFL Europe before coming to the league in 98...

still, all this talk about Garcia and Bledsoe... no one thinks Warner can still start somewhere?

Garcia is a mobile QB which seems to be in fashion in league and both San Fran and Mooch like what they see in him. Bledsoe had some GREAT years in the late 90s. He's actually 9th (IIRC) in the all time passers list in yardage.

Warner, everyone is trying to found out what went wrong in St. Louis and I don't think they know. They kind of know what is wrong with Bledsoe and Garcia.

it was that season that he broke his hand. he was out for most of that season then out for most of the next. was on injured reserve, right? then Marc Bulger came along and eclipsed him.

Yeah, but Warner has a better arm. It's just messed up what happened in St. Louis. The things with Warner is that he might have taken too many to the head. He got that concussion and he was never really as sharp mentally.

Warner should have been the starter for the Giants the whole season - or at least until they had little to no chance for the playoffs.

Who replaces their starting quarterback with an untested rookie when you are in a playoff race and only one game out of the division lead? I know! The New York Giants. The Giants were either 5-1 or 5-2 when they pulled Warner. Teams that were 8-8 were able to get in the playoffs in the NFC.

Brees was great in the skills challenge, but didn't kick ass at the pro-bowl. The two best QBs at the pro-bowl were Peyton Manning (of course) and Mike Vick. Brees was behind those two by a decent amount, only tossing two passes in the game.
