How would you "fix" Star Trek?

While I generally agree I think they did a decent job integrating Jake and Nog into DS9. Now Wes Crusher on the other hand.....

Most scifi stuff however I'd prefer without kids. Ep. I was a real insult (not only) in this aspect.

I still like my idea of a show just about Klingons set onboard a Klingon ship. The language issue would be a problem though.
