Yeah, but Dino, reality tends to break your gives a ****.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

No, that was aneeshm I think. This one is much better. Only the first sentence you quoted was really out of place. "tigger-lovers" was the subtle clue which has to be in any piece of satire, and it passes because it's also really funny.

Why is tigger-lovers the clue? I wouldn't have figured it out until the last two paragraphs.

Because it's too ****ing ridiculous to be anything but satire. It's an obvious joke.

Obvious to some of us but not to all.

Yeah Yeah. Easy for you guys to say since you already know it's a joke.

See, the problem with this was...

                    it's just... not funny.

I mean, satire can be good if it's funny. But this wasn't funny. So...

Uh, I knew it was a joke from that (and the previous paragraph).

                        I found it quite funny.

I didn't actually read it until someone said it was satire, but it seems that one would not be sure is was fake until the last couple paragraphs, but have more doubt about it as they read.

it's a bad poly habit. I usually read the first few paragraphs, and maybe, just maybe skim the rest. Unless I find the subject interesting, then I will ready the entire thing closely.

Substitute a "n" for the "t". The reason why this is a clue is that there are no well known American religious figures left who are stupid enough to use the "n" word in public. They've all moved on to hating gays and the French.
