  • There is not natural order that makes lazy people poor and hard working people rich. Sometimes lazy people become rich, because they don't care for work. Sometimes hard working people don't care about much about money, and don't mind work. And do you even ask people it they are hard working at job interviews. You are more concerned about their skills.

Again full agreement. There is also no natural order that makes a rich person any more selfish than a poorer one. Or do you hold that poorer people are more virtuous simply by being poorer

Which is why I have repeatedly stated my view that hardworking skilled people generally get ahead (succeed) financially if that is a priority for them. They may choose to minister to the sick in a third world country. But I don't think you can fault the system for failing to provide financial wealth to someone that never sought it.

Who said there was such an order? How is that relevent?

You are again saying that people who are poor either want to be that way or they are lazy. There is NO natural order to society that makes that so. Society simply labels poor people lazy.

How long have you been at sea? Have some people on the ship begun to do very strange things?

Everyone I work with sits in front of computer screens that OSHA claims "emits dangerous levels of radiation". What do you think?

Actually, I'm currently ****faced in Bahrain right now.

MY quote was this "hardworking skilled people generally get ahead "--

You obviously have no idea how to read since you turned something that is "more often than not" true into an absolutism. As I explained to you before I don't believe in absolutes when we are talking human behavior. There are always exceptions. Thats why finding a bright hardworking poor person who prioritizes money and who has faced no unusual misfortune doesn't refute me. Refutation would require showing there are many such persons.

AS for who comprise "poor people", its a whole bunch of people but very few of them would be hardworking ,smart and have marketable skills unless there were some unusual factors involved or the person did not give money any priority.

Here it seems that anyone that can take a plumbers or electricians trade can be making 60-80K pretty quickly. I call that getting ahead-- don't you??

So you go around calling poor people and communists lazy? There's no hope for you. I should just as well waste my time arguing with Ned about what terrorism is.

I go to lengths to explain how I am NOT saying x and you respond " so you say x !!!!"

I seriously doubt your reading comprehension skills.
