            When I read this topic the first thing that came to mind was a replicator, but it has to be programmable and come with heaps of schematics for other gadgets and stuff.

            Altough a trinket that gives the bearer uber magical powers might be even better.

                      Yes I would like a magical trinket that allows me to throw fireballs, generate a magical shield impervious to bullets (and throwing knives), hover and shoot lightning bolts out my ass. And it would be powered by human souls which it could rip from the living, leaving them comatose unless I decide to return the soul, and I could return souls to the wrong body too! yes! Mwahahahah.
