  • Thanks for the link, Chris.

Obviously, I haven't decided about the playtesting in detail yet, but I think we could let you have the English, and Henrik the Swedes. (Please don't everybody else pile on...there will be more than one playtest game, and enough for everybody!)

No tournaments, tho' so you only need play in one game, Chris...

I will possibly take the Dutch myself, and as you will see, they aren't quite so limited in Col4. They do start off in Democracy though (called Republic), and can't change for a while.

The English get the option later to have Parliamentary Monarchy (Republic renamed), and it would be funny if you deliberately opted for this in-game. As you well might!

    • Chris, please be sure to leave the area around Calais open for reinforcements coming from Dover and Portsmouth!

      Thanks.

                  No tourney! An outrage!

I plan on being in more than one game, and some of us actually "like" the Boney Tourney.

Gives me the best venue to practice and perfect the fine art of "bumping".

Keep the screen shots comming! Thanks!

                  • Not so much action this year, and a few reverses for English arms.

The French raiders in the south of England were finally rounded up and interned, but they led our Dragoons a merry chase and there were many dead on each side. (2 of my Dragoons, 2 French Grenadiers).

The Soldats Marines advancing towards New Brunswick were ambushed but beat off their attackers. The new settlement may soon be under threat.

A decision was made not to advance our siege trenches under the walls of Quebec yet. More infantry is awaited.

However, in Northern France, siege works have been built on the hills commanding Paris. A large army has moved in and heavy guns are being brought up.

A Spanish merchantman near Willemstaad has been siezed.

You're doing very well John you might just be able to get your revenge for our last conflict this time

An English brigantine (Prestige?) sunk near Finisterre

Agadir finally joins the Spanish province of Western Sahara.

Now that I've taken two of the most succulent french cities to the spanish taste, I will concentrate some efforts to the Brits. Why? well, la France est un peu sandwichée by you and me John, I selfishly prefer them fighting you I'm only showing my intentions, no talks, no truces, no peaces, no agreements, nothing

Steve, most of times it's not a good idea to show the nicest pics, if you wanna load and see the meaty stuff just let me know and i will tell you my password
