Public Works Program Activated
London.- By order of the Prince Regent, the Chancellor of the Exchequer has released an expenditure bill of over 1,000 gold pieces to be spent on completing the public works which are being undertaken in the Kingdom. Sponsored by the taxing and revenues of new and existing trade routes, marketplaces, churches, water supplies, warehouses and merchant's quarters are being finished hastily accross the Kingdom in order to increase cashflow. Many analysts have congratulated the Prince Regent for his sound fiscal policy and for reactivating the economy of Britain.
Trade Continues to Flourish
Calais.- Seeing the most movement of tradesmen reaching the continent, the docks of Calais have reported the highest activity over the past ten years, much of which is owed to government incentive. This year two new trade routes were established with the Dauphin's capital, a glassware route with Birmingham and fine weapons from Boston. If all continues to go well, the economy of Britain should continue to rise. Many congratulate the Prince Regent for filling the coffers of the small Kingdom.
