OK, who has the file now? I'm getting tired of prodding people. El, if you have the game, play your turn and send it. If you're tired of playing, then allow someone else to take your slot.

All I know is that I received my turn 17 several days ago, played it, saved it, and sent it out within 15 minutes of its reception. Since then I have heard nothing. Does anyone know who's turn it is? Who has the file?

So none of you have received turn18 yet?
I played it and sent it to Henrik something like three days ago... It seems like he played it as well, according to his post at the first Modern Age History thread..."An intellectual is a man who doesn't know how to park a bike"

Yes it appears I am the bad guy again, my sincere appologies to everyone.
Apperently I didn't send the game away, my mistake.
Really sorry!
I realize how bad this looks (having delayed pbem games 3 times ) but I assure you it won't happen again!
I also have something of a warning, the game may actually be deleyed one day further, I am going to be away on saterday, but I will be back on sunday so it shouldn't affect the game that much.

Don't concern yourself with that, henrik. If you are away, it's good of you to tell us. In fact, I'm taking my family on a little holiday this weekend, and won't be back till Sunday.

Hey, it's OK, no need to worry!
However, you're the bad guy here indeed: you play as France!"An intellectual is a man who doesn't know how to park a bike"

The Turkish admirals have been repulsed! A heavy attack upon the fortress of Rhodes has been driven back with heavy naval losses. The Sultan has been rumored to comment that "There is plenty more where they came from; christian galley-slaves are easily purchased. Buy more!" New fleets are even now under way toward the wreckage-strewn waters off the forlorn island.
Inshallah!

The fortress-city of Oran shows a Spanish flag now too. The Pope has rashly decided to cancel our peace treaty, and so we are now at war. It's hard to believe what the Head of Christiendom will do for a few hundred of gold coins...
We've alaso founded a new city near Lisbon. We've given her the name of Coimbra.
