I don't know how you want your budget balanced, so I would prefer that you give me a solid number as opposed to "as many as possible." You're gaining 1,600 per year right now, so you could raise 1,600 men and break even, assuming your income remains steady. Is that what you would like?
Ah yes, that´s a fair point. I apologize.
So could you make it that I have called up 1200 fresh recruits last turn, please? Also, sorry to bother you any further, but I remember calling up generals last turn...

I´m really sorry for the trouble I´m causing...

    • It's not a problem. I'm simply a very busy man from Sunday to Wednesday, and things like this get put on the back burner.

      • And if Micha's calling men up retroactively, that answers the question I had. Strategic orders in, tactical orders coming today.

        • My PM box is quickly approaching 150 with all the HRE correspondence. In the next few days I will be deleting all HRE related PMs, so if there is anything you want to keep you should do so immediately.

            • Generals - Saxony

Langraf Baldovin von Hameln, Age 34
Courage is a virtue this man knows well. Only a fool would say that they have never felt fear, but this man's life is full of stories in which fear is stared down and overcome. His courage is indisputable, and this has distinguished him over the course of several recent campaigns as a possible candidate for generalship. Little else is known about the man, though no questionable stories or rumors stand out.

Vizegraf Dimarus von Luneburg, Age 38
This noble is very, very fond of talking. Eloquent and captivating, he moves lesser men easily and persuades his superiors into agreement. Known as a loyal supporter of Duke Heinrich, he has used his considerable influence and charisma to bring in both noble and common support for the new King. Respected and loved, he is a prize for any ruler, but his battlefield experience is scant and his prowess in battle could be anyone's guess.

Landgraf Gernand von Celle, Age 53
A grizzled old partisan of the current ruling family of Saxony, this old-fashioned noble is known to be trustworthy and relatively well suited for war (which he is a seasoned veteran of). He accepts his duties without grumbling and carries them out without question, though he doesn't seem to show much initiative or free thought in the matter. He is stalwart, dependable, and boring.

I´m sorry for not posting more, I´m just a bit pressed for time ATM...

                      - commence trade with Bavaria: 350 denarii for 300 Bavarian light armour pieces
                      - commence trade with Bavaria: 140 denarii for 200 Bavarian spears
                      - add 500 of the new recruits to the new army named "Protectors of the March" and arm them with bows, axes, shields and light armour each
                      - appoint Langraf Baldovin von Hameln General of the Protectors and move that army to Zwickau to protect the March
                      - add all remaining recruits to the Viking Slayers and arm them with bows, axes, shields and light armour each
                      - March the Viking Slayers into Frisia and cooperate with the Frises in driving the Vikings back into the sea
                      - retain Vizegraf Dimarus von Luneburg as a potential future general

                      • My intent was to type "7 denarii per 10 items". At 120 denarii, that comes to 85 spears and 85 shields. I'll add it to my orders.

                          • I have amended (and changed) my orders. Appleciders, I just realized I had more than enough shields, but I´ll take some spears instead. Hope this is ok.

                            • Yep- I'll make it 170 spears instead. That's actually better for me, anyway.
