Duke Arnulf of Bavaria to Duke Spytihnìv I of Bohemia
Then I understand that these raiders from your lands are not your subjects and not under your protection? Then I shall feel no qualms about crushing them utterly.

The Stem Duchies are lining up to deal with the Magyar threat. Don't worry, we will see to it that they pay!

Duke Arnulf of Bavaria to Duke Burchard of Swabia
Now that me purchasing your iron is no longer a possibility, would you consider trading me any of your copper?

All people of Bohemia and Moravia are my subjects. The interference of the Magyars, however, has made it impossible to control the population that flees before them. Any of my people who raid your lands are not under my protection, and you may deal with them as you wish - though incursion into Bohemian lands will be dealt with as an affront to my authority. But we have been allies since I rose to power, and I ask that you act quickly against our mutual enemies, the Magyars - I fear I cannot much longer withstand their assaults.

My answer is the same as before; I will refuse any and all of your offers until I am informed by the King that you are trustworthy enough to be dealt with.

My son, the Duke of Bavaria, is trustworthy. With God's aid, and the guidance of his earthly representatives in the Holy Church, we both believe he has gotten over the bulk of his youthful indiscretions.

Might I open negotiations for that copper now?

I would be able to trade you one hundred denarii of tin for one hundred denarii of your copper.

Duke Arnulf of Bavaria to Duke Burchard of Swabia and King Conrad of Germany
I need to know what troops I will be recieving to help defend the Magyar border. If I can't get assistance from you, I will have little choice but to allow the Magyars to attack you once more.

The troops that I send are contingent upon the King's demands, but we intend to provide around 1,500 troops, as well as around 1,200 knights and sergeants. Most of the levies will be spearmen, perhaps with a few archers or angonmen.

Oh Great King, your orders are needed. Then appleciders and Micha can give me their PM orders, and then I can update.

That's fine. Orders in PMs are optional if you have any secret militaary, espionage, etc. things you need to tell me. You don't need to send me any PMs if you have nothing secret to order.
