What? You did not know that chieftain was a fraud? You should be more careful in choosing your allies. Your "chieftain" was a cousin to the true chieftain, whom he murdered along with much of his family. He then extorted money from the civilians and was preparing to assassinate his neighboring tribe's leader and take over his land as well. We apologize only that we were unable to prevent that criminal from escaping. We will promise no further movements into any of that territory...if you can keep your subject states and the Franks in check.

Btw, great map ciders! Where did you get the ship symbol from? It´s an honor to see the fruits of my poor drawing skills put to good use here... Good job!

Google images came up with the ship symbol; you use some sort of tool to fuzz over the ships in the AHENES so I couldn't get a good copy.

I could give you the Saxons, but most of their territory is off the northern edge of the map. What about the Avars? They're off to the east of Vienna, another big barbarian horde type nation. I could generate stats and the like for them.

It appears we have over-extended ourselves. All of our laborers have many things to do, such as building the road-network, and Mosques around the empire. It seems we will not be able to contribute any laborers to the University for a while, however, we will be helping to build it in other ways. I give you my apologies.
