Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
The website I heard from friends, the tread I found. It looked like a good one, and since this is my first time, I figgured playing with experinced people would help me learn
"Bother," said Pooh, "Eeyore, ready two photon torpedoes and lock
phasers on the Heffalump. Piglet, meet me in transporter room
three. Christopher Robin, you have the bridge."
I was actually just thinking of a really cool idea last night. Let's call it the Grand World NES. It would basically start at the beginning of civilization, in Mesopotamia. It would then slowly progress through the time, and hopefully, would go all the way into the Future Age. If there was a war, the time between turns would be smaller, than lets say just at a boring peace time, without much action. There would need to be around two mods, and fifteen players. It would be very detailed. It would probably be a year or two years to finish, but I think it could be very fun. Please note, this is only my crazy brainstorm of an idea, so don't take it very realistically.
this is a very good idea that usually, if everything goes well, will work until the traditional NES critical limit, about 2-5 months, getting us to somewhere around the late antiquity or early medieval age. So it basically works really well as a birth of civilization NES, but out of dozens of times tried, only several have gotten to the modern age, so its good to create/play it with that in mind. Anyway, dinner for me now, then back to stats, which are almost done.
Those walls are absent of glory as they always have been. The people of tents will inherit this land.
I like the idea with the turn switching, but let's not start to switch things up, becasue then that is anotehr week of deciding how we want to do things. Lets just get it going first.
Lysistrata: It comes down to this: Only we women can save Greece.
Kalonike: Only we women? Poor Greece!
