Do you want me to regard that as an order? Whenever Tassadar ordered such things I thought he was joking and just ignored the orders

Now that the immediate threats no longer existed and the republican order had been restored, senators were remainded about the promises Romans had made in the past. For help from the MG Laurentius had promised to help to defend their cities in the North. So after long negotiation with the comitium and military comittee it was decided that the campaign against the Gauls would proceed as planned. It was agreed that the legions will be reinforced, but senators couldnt reach an agreement whether to invest to calvalry or infantry. That was left to the legati legioni to decide.

Senate also agreed on remaining neutral in the carthage-persia war. An request of an alliance with the Macedonia was passed.

        Orders

        - Spend 56 talents to train 4000 horsemen add them to legion IV.
        - Spend 4 talents to train the commanders in handling very large army groups
        - All Legions, Apulian guards and the Ligurian army attack the Cisalpine Gauls
        THEN
        IF
        - Attack the Celtian Horde if it moves southwards.
        IF NOT
        - Meet with the Adrian garrison and continue against the Aquilejan Army
        THEN
        - Attack at full force against the Celtian Horde
        THEN
        - Continue the campaign to the East and conquer the Aquilejan Tribes.

Women...voting? Equal rights? IN THE MILITARY? We hear you are even asking your troops where they would like to fight. Is this true? Your nation is very odd. The Athenians, wise and good friends that they are, may the gods smile upon them, have strange enough customs. You know what happened to them as a result of their "democracy" before they got it under control: Turmoil, mob rule, rampant ostracism, a lost war. Why would you give up your rule for that? How will your people know what to do? At the very least we hope you are extending this democracy to only your citizens. And good luck fighting a war with women in the army. Well, your people are not like ours, but the best of luck to you anyway.
                  Carthage to Macedonia:
Actually, that was not a serious order. However, we were ONLY asking the volunteers where they wanted to be.

Oho! You Carthaginians are such jokers. A strange wit, but we can appreciate it

(SECRET: And while our emissary is here...what do you intend to do about Persia?)

                    • The Carthagian population is on the brink of open riot, since the leaders don´t seem capable of making decisions on their own...

In other words: Don´t ask the mod on where to set up colonies etc.
