Task Force Lions Heart departs for SE ASIA The task force consisting of a aircraft carrier and numerous supporting vessels departed for Singapore at 6:00 GMT. The Albion class vessels which were to be loaded with 4,600 marines were suddenly packed with 6,000 marines and a full armoured regiment, The Royal Dragoon Guards. Anaylsts say this is evident that the role intended for these forces will be far more than evacuating foreign nationals.

President Putin Addresses Russia
We may have to add political and economical pressure on these factions because bombings may be too much. Bombings would actually cause civilian casualities... so I am ordering the return of all naval vessels to their ports. As for Chechyna, I am pulling out Russian troops despite numerous victories made by them... I feel we shouldn't have civilian casualities in the area. So I will grant them full semi-indepedency, though 15% of taxes collected will be sent to Russia and Russian Companies will be allowed to invest in this area. The Rebels will disarm to agreement made earlier today, and will take charge of the government in a cooperative and peaceful manner. They will be allowed to control their own Affairs, and own small Police/Fire Force. This is the best way to minimize casualities on both sides... we have to take the best way: Peace, and not unless we are forced to: War. But war is not an option now, only peace is.

To UK: We have considered this. But are you still going to send an invasion force? We are talking about Vietnam here also, you know Hanoi has over 900 Artillery guns making it by far the hardest place to bomb in the world... they make their own ammo also. Sending troops to Vietnam, Cambodia or Laos would just be plain suicide because the countries are loaded with Land Mines and Artillery. Vietnam hasn't changed much since the 1970s and still have a ton of weapons.

We suggest the last measure: total isolation, I hate suggesting it but it must be done...

Chin Faction Eliminated
Chin leaders surrendered to the BVRP after an agreement that would allow increased Chin representation in the provisional BVRP government, investment in Chin lands, and an assortment of other benefits. Hanoi and Haiphong Join VRP
The residents of Hanoi and Haiphong have switched allegiances to the VRP side and ousted the remaining troops loyal to the DRSEA (mostly Thais), with the help of DRSEAan troops who switched sides (mostly Vietnamese). The Hanoi and Haiphong VRP (HHVRP) control the Red River delta and a few cities outside of the delta, including Nam Dinh and Hong Gai.

Thai Monarchy Restoration Movement Secede from DRSEA
The Thai Monarchy Restoration Movement (TMRM) have seceded from the DRSEA, taking with them a crescent area of the cities north of Mae Hong Son, Phayao, Chiang Rai, Chiang Saen, and the ruins of Chiang Mai. The TMRM have signed a treaty of friendship with the Shan faction, and have allied with the BVRP.

Vanadium is used in manufacturing steel, to provide tensile and torsional strength and resistance to abrasion.
In effect all this information leads up to the fact that South Africa provides the resources that feul most of the world's heavy industy. If for example the world was deprived of these materials for any sustained period of time, the world economy would be in no uncertain terms demolished. Over the period of months South Africa will begin exporting less of these materials driving the prices higher. Nations can of course go to other countries for some of the resources they need but it would take years for those nations to be able to substitute South Africa in the amount of the desired metal.

The United States of America is appalled at the bloodshed in Southeast Asia. President Clinton has ordered the U.S.S. John C. Stennis and the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln and their battlegroups into the South China Sea to monitor the situation.

Republicans in the Congress have condemned the President's actions, which were wholeheartedly supported by his Vice President, Al Gore. Senator Jesse Helms was quoted as saying, "What Clinton doesn't understand is that foreign policy ain't like screwing interns. Southeast Asia is a tar-baby. If we get stuck there now, it will take years to get out. Al Gore doesn't know a thing about foreign policy either. He should go back to hugging trees."

It would appear that Clinton and Gore's pollsters have greatly underestimated the backlash this action would cause in the polls. Despite the booming economy, the President's public opinion rating has fallen to 31% over the past two weeks. Al Gore is fairing even worse in the election polls. With election day drawing closer, Clinton and Gore's foolish foreign policy has finally caught up with them.

In other news, the United States has offered to host a conference for the members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (Germany, Britain, Spain, France, Canada, etc) at Camp David.

We are going to close down 6 nuclear Plants that were aging so we could install 6 new ones. This is a sign that more deinstallations will come... There was a cease fire signed with the Rebels in Chechyna and they were given semi-independency.

The Russian Army will be placed on High Alert searching for any shipment of guns, anyone seen with guns will be arrested... The Russian Army has found two crates and consificatied them, and dumped them in the ocean... No guns are getting into our nation to get to the Mobs hand from Israel or from other absurd nations Vladimir Putin Announced today in the Congress Meeting.

Kuznetsov Carrier Being Sent
Despite the fact we will not be doing any air/naval bombs the Kuznetsov Carrier along with 4 Destroyers and 2 Frigates will be sent to monitor the situation in SE Asia. This will just make sure nothing devasting happens in any region of SE Asia...

Many Arrested, All Crates Consificated
There were about 12 Crates heading to Russia this morning and were all consificated, the People guarding them were arrested and given proper trial, there 16 People guarding them and they were giving 20 Years Prision. This shows how they could of killed innocent lives... The Russian Army has many tanks and troops moving in this area.

Sanctions on Israel
The Russian Federation is imposing sanctions on Israel, cutting all trade with this totalitarian state... it is simple as that.

Russian Government opens up 8 Oil Power Plants
The Russian Government has opened up 8 Petroleum Power Plants to replace the 6 Nuclear Power Plants that were closed. These plants will pollute more, are 2X as big in structurial size but produce the same amount of power... more Oil Plants will be open. In the mountain areas Hydroelectric facilities will open... powering areas around there. 7 more Nuclear facilities will be closed, and a few more then that is all we have... they will be replaced with polluting Oil Plants.

Police/Military Raid
Nearly 600 People were arrested in the CoC headquarter located in St. Petersburg today. There were 5 injuries and none were killed as they open fire on the Police, nearly 1,500 Police and Military Personel raided the facilities losing only 2. The CoC were using mostly light weapons that were useless against a AK-47. The People were given Trials at the load all around Russia, and 566 of them were guilty so they will be in prision for 15 years, and 20 of them will be proven for murder and will be in prision for 90 years, the rest were found innocent of these charges. More Arrests will be made... even though all Nuclear Plants are being closed replaced with Oil Plants...

Chechyna given 90% Indepedence
The Republic of Chechyna has been given full indepedence despite the fact Russian companies are still abled to invest in the region at a full free extent. The Rebels will be abled to form their Fire/Police Force but nothing too large. We will provide financial support to this new region.. This still means Chechyna is still a region of Russia, although the Rebels will disarm at their own decision and will be abled to handle their own affairs. This a major step in the peace process.
