as for the moon in Mars I should point out that are countries fell back in time and we are still at the beginning of the 2100's. Therefore we no longer have any space colonies with the exception of the Italian Moon Bases (which are obviously opened to our Australian friends) and a soon to be installed base in the Jupiterian moon of Ganymede.

In the first "Ad Infinitum" in order to open up Venus to Italo and Australian colonization I made my scientist invent a metal called Leonardicum.. very strong and with high resistance to heat and cold. But also very expensive to be produced.

I have no problem with colonies and bases and such. What I don't think is anywhere near realistic or consistent is that he said Venus was terraformed, habitable, as in nearly earth-like.

Emperor Giovanni del Vino promote reforms in the military
In order to contrast the raising needs of security of the New Italian Empire, Emperor del Vino, together with Prime Minister Alessandro and the Secretery of the Defence Leo have decided on raising the military budget and to immediatly increase the size of the Italian Air Force and Navy.
The Militarist Party already expressed its joy for this new decisions, while the Space League expressed great concerns to this project, and said they hope that these reforms won't slow down the Italian space exploration and colonization.

Nova Firenze founded in Ganymede
A first Italian base was finally founded on the Jupiterian moon of Ganymede, the base have been named Nova Firenze, mostly due to the fact that a large part of the settlers that went there are from the city of Firenze or its surrounds.
The ISA stated that a similar base will be installed (always in Ganymede) in the next few years. They have stated in 4 years at maximum.

Until you actually physically colonize Mercury and Titan, your claims will be considered void. While we don’t have much interest in these claims, and so don’t foresee any conflict over this, we would recommend you don’t get into the habit of making territorial claims before you can act on them, as there is no legal or practical basis for doing so.

A Chinese Lifter carrying people and materials into space has been shot down!
Two missiles were fired at the Lifter, the first of which was defeated by the ship's countermeasures, but the second missile exploded almost on top of the ship, causing it to lose control and largely break up after a few seconds. Out of the 14 people on board, it is expected that none survived.
Orbital and surface scans confirm that both missiles came from a Persian base. When contacted, the New Persian officials were haughty and would not commit to an answer. Therefore, with the evidence undeniably indicating that this was an intentional hostile act on the part of the Persians, a declaration of war has been issued. Their empire was born in bloodshed and aggression, and it is clear that they intend to carry on with their terrible legacy. Thus China asks the nations of earth to help remove this menace.

Military actions:

Chian is undergoing emergency mobilization, all non-essential projects have been put on temporary hold. The army will be expanded to Large within two years, the Air Force to large within six years.

Soldiers and equipment are being moved up to the front as quickly as possible. The units already there have fortified themselves in defensible positions, with air support makign sure Persian troops don't get too close. As soon as the necessary forces arrive, the southern border with Persia, in the Himalaya and Kunlun mountains, will be fortified, and offensive will be mounted in the north.
