The patriotic citizenry of Wisconsin has been working on improved methods of warfare to help save the besieged troops in Iceland.

1st. Thousands of Cherokee volunteers have offered their lives and their prized tomahawks to the cause.

2nd. The priests of the Bow and Arrow have developed an automated version called the crossbow, it takes longer to load, but it is made in such a manner that it can be loaded with 4 bolts at a time, making it more accurate than the bow at a similar speed.

3rd. The priests of the ballistae school look at old plans for a siege weapon and come up with two working prototypes, the catapult, and the trebuchet.

4th. Wisconsinite women are freely offering themselves to the men going off to war, this will result in an increased population in Wisconsin.

This raiding business is turning out to be so much fun that it is becoming somewhat of a national hobby for the Greeks. People are joining sailing organizations, building their own boats, joining the navy, anything which will get them the opportunity to go out into the north Atlantic for a few/half-dozen years and enthusiastically pursue the whole ‘pirate lifestyle’ which has become such a fad. As a result of this, Navy size has and is continuing to swell, and the quality of the boats and the sailors/sea soldiers is increasing as they gain tremendous amounts of experience sailing all the way across the Mediterranean and into the north Atlantic, some even making it to the North American continent proper, a place the locals call “Kwebeck”, near as can be figured out. The raiding was good there for a little while, but the Romans soon picked up defenses and the Greek buccaneers now have to be much more cautious. Still, the times are good, and the Greeks are enjoying it while it lasts.

United Empire Peace Plan

To the American Alliance: Here is a peace plan as offered by the High Lord of Edingburgh.

Greenland is to be split according to the map below. Ports and the like is the matter of the American Alliance
Iceland is to be fully given back to the United Empire as it is a Druidish Realm.
No Warships of an American nation are to go past this border and likewise no European navies are to go past the border.
A DMZ is to be made with 10 miles either side on the border to prevent hopstilities.
A non-aggression pact is offered to the Roman Empire and its allies from the United Empire.
Greenlanders who wish to be on the other side of the border will be given 1 year to do so.
