-The French space agency has succesfuly launched a satellite into orbit. Several more are planned to be launched over the next year, and a unmanned mission to the Moon is in the works.

How can the United States claim a desire for peace when all it does is threaten war? The U. S. is now running as a facist state as there have been no reelections, and by the 25th ammendment, after the 8th year, a new president, senate, and house should be showing changes... OR... the Americans have become a facist warmongering state, which, based on the American system of government, would only be able to come into power after a massive civil war, which would eliminate or greatly extend any and all research that the U.S. is conducting at this time, as well as cause a reduction in U.S. military forces.

1) When was the 51st Amendment passed?

2) Is there any particular reason why it should be presumed to exist here (after all, this isn't particularly realistic - you started with nukes, remember?)?

3) Why should he bother to talk about the elections - after all, it's not as if you bother to talk about arrests made by your secret police, it it now?

We admit the arrests made by our police, secret or no, we must protect the peaceful workers of the People's Republics. We do not pretend otherwise.

You though, are a duck pretending to be a peacock, have elections every 4 years, as is done in America to enhance the reality, have the same party elected, with the same stance. I do not ask that you get all Giovanni on us and declare the % of the House and senate held by each party (No offense to Gio, that style rocks) but we do ask that you note elections every 4 years.

I think that in a government with elections you can assume that the administration will be periodically changed. Its rather pointless and tedious to have to note every time someone is ousted or reelected. Unless someone makes a note that there had been a substantial policy change, it is reasonable to assume that the administration has been reelected or the same party is in power. It really doesn't help anything to note that elections have occured, unless there is an accompanying substantial policy change, which doesn't always happen.
