Internal affairs

General clamp down on racial violence among European Aussies. Several Aboriginal nationalists are asked to move into the northern part of the country, now known as the "Aboriginal homelands", but officially is called Northern Autonomous Territory (NAT). A longterm campaign (state funded) against rascism is began as to educate the citizens to leave in peace and harmony with other ethnic groups.

Foreign affairs

All countries, expect Indonesia and Fascist Pacifica: We propose the founding a council called "The Oceanian League" that would look into the problem of Indonesian and the dictatorship in Pacifica. It would work as a co-operative organisation as the old League of Nations. It would bring peace and stability to the region, but it could also fight against this disease with co-operative measures (sidenote: compare to WHO). Any of you who want to join the OL will be granted NAP agreements and longterm trade development schemes.

EA, Queensland and Victoria: We appologise the current situation, but we'll have to set a quaranteen on any persons immigrating from the countries listed. This is a just a precaution to stop the disease. We also offer several field hospitals to assist if needed to. ARA also offers you extended peace and stability by proposing NAP agreements. The ARA State Mining Company has also included an offer to sell opals for 2 years at a rebated price, in the case the trade agreement is established for 10 years.

Indonesia: We salute the current changes, but urge you to promote peace and stability.

NZ: Hippies have started to rebel throughout the nation calling your leaders warmongers after the recent moves into Pacifica. Your economy and popularity is rapidly disintegrating as a result.

Pacifica: Due to the continued violence, US companies are delayiong decisions about your country.

WAE: The rebel faction of the Kimberley's are now in the ARA and do not seek futher harm. The US critises uranuim sales to other countries but has offered 500 million dollars for the rights to the six largest uranuim deposits in your nation.

Indonesia: Your economy imporves considerably and the US officially now supports you. The reason is you found petroleum in northern Sumartra and the Timor Gap.

EA: The epidemic subsides after Qld help, but the damge to your regime has been done. Many people still want an end to Social Democracy and want a full soviet style regime.

PNG: Due to the instability of Pacifica certain companies have shown intrest in your nation as a regional base of operations. However you must lower your taxes and the instability in Pacifica must continue.

ARA: Europeans have begun arming themsleves. Also as a large amjority of your army are Europeans, things look dicey for the new democratic regime. The Europeans ask for outside help.

Borneo: Fascist rebels in Suluwesi have taken over the island. Unless this rebellion is crushed Suluwesi will become independent.

Van D's Land: Your economy is bboming due to now direst international trade. The US has asked to set up bases in your territory so they can assist in the region. This will make your army go from tiny, to small.

New Law enforced.

The NZ Parliament had recently passed a law legalizing all light drugs in the country, and also has legalized the production of light drugs plant.

The Parliament ratified this law with a 62% of votes, 54% coming from the Green Democratic Party, and 8% coming from the Social Libertarian Party.

Against voted the Democratic Conservative Party 34% and the Repubblican Party 4%.

The new law was gladly accepted by most of the younger people, and the majority of the hippies, however the more conservative people had been completly astonished by this move.

War Bulletin
New Zealand troops enter Kabul.
After the raiding bombs against the Afghani Capital, NZ, US and British troops have entered the city of Kabul.
The Afghani Gov't has officially collapsed, and a new gov't had been formed.
However, a small military group in the area had to stay there, as a peacekeeping force, and to help training the troops of the new Democratic Gov't of Afghanistan.

Half of the army and navy sent in Afghanistan is now coming back in NZ.

The other half will be back in about 2 years.

Pacifica Conflict
The combined forces of NZ, PNG and Pacifica have liberated the islands of Tuvalu, and NZ submarines had sunk some of the Fascist Ships protecting that island.

However, it really surprised the NZ Admirals to see some ships, waving Indonesian flag in the area as well.
however it was not clear what they were doing in there.

There is a reversal of fortunes against the UN forces in Afghanistan, when Iran has entered on the Afghani side. The US requests new Zealander help for the next 10 years with 20% of the armed services. If this is not undertaken the US will start looking for better allies in the region.

Internal affairs

In order to stabilise the internal turmoil, the chairman has decided to have talks with all parties. The transitional government will continue until general parliamentary elections are held within a few years time. The constitution will be changed and the name of the republic will changed as the European Aussies are getting abit restless about the new name. However a large majority of the European Aussies are very pleased with the reforms and all parties (Pro Reformation, Democratic Liberty Party, Aussie Alliance and a new party that has been encouraged by Rasbelin in order to gather the whole political spectrum; Aboriginal Coalition Party) agree to continue the current foreign policies and only several changes are warranted to internal policies. The government promises an immidiate landreform that will give an opportunity to Europeans by larger areas for farming. Aboriginals are promised a special status as native population. The European backed parties show interest in the new transportation plans and promise that they will promote a nill tolerance for racial violence. Rasbelin warn all parties that he doesn't want to see new South States with racial discrimination. Underlines that a mutual peace must be found as there's currently a growing threat of war in the region. Later he admits to the press that he's very worried about the situation in Pacifica and points out that he's the first one to predict a larger conflict if the Fascists aren't expelled from Pacifica. In an official statement by the Deputy Chairman Wilson, a plan to build a larger air force is revealed and several sources "leak out" that the militray will also start the training of special desert warfare troops.

The government has announced a new military project for traning and establishment of a special task force for desert warfare. The Ministry of Defense hasn't wanted to comment this news, except that it confirmed the development project is known as "Desert Fox." Lieutenant Tom Walsh from the CAAF stated yesterday that the rumour about the involvement of the air force in "Desert Fox" was "true, but nothing specific has yet been decided about the participation of CAAF." According to sources in Western Australia, there might be a link between their army and the army of RCA in this desert warfare project, but no official sources have confirmed that.

Indonesia is very pleased by the kind offer from the Republic of Central Australia. However, it cannot make the deal as long as from the Republic of Central Australia tries to isolate Indonesia from the other countries.
We want to join the OL, too, otherwise we cannot make any such deals.

Due to the growing threats by several so-called democratic nations who are trying to keep our glourious country weak the government of Indenosia has decided to upgrade and enlarge its army from medium to large. After the recent discoveries of petrolium we can finally afford it.

Sheik Cinna has been brutally murdered during a state visit to the Sulawesi city of Makassar. He leaves no successor and it looks as if Sulawesi will become independent if foreign aid is not provided. The sheiks' ministers have said they will be loyal to any government who fights against the Sulawesi liberation army.
