          that's enough.

why Metaliturtle do you say i cheat?

The Commander looked his men over. It was a sad state they were in, they were all recruits, he could tell by the undisciplined ay they walked, hell everything about them from their scent on down screamed it.

And he had to invade africa with them.

It would have been funny if it had been someone else but then again, the italians weren't very good soldiers and the locals might help.

            k

The italians were prepared for an attack much larger then the one coming.

On the coast were concrete bunkers filled with men with grenade launchers and machine guns. Rdy to mow down anything that came near.

The concrete was 15 feet thick with steel reinforcment even naval bombardment couldnt break it.

Eagerly the troops awaited the oncoming battle.

The Chinese left there 4? was it tanks behind in case this situation was to happen.

I'm not going to join this NES, one is enough for me , but I'm still gonna read this NEs, and if you guys start PMing you'll ruin all the story....

The Indian engineers and labors take upon the great task of building fortress and some walls across the Chinese-Indian border. While the Indian troops dig trenches just under a mile in front and watch the border until the defense is built. The engineers think the defense will take two months to perfect but should be usable in a month and when perfected should be very effective. Some air bases are also being constructed behind the fortifications. Some light scouting runs are already at work. Although only light because the small air force is also watching the seas.

OCC: Billy Bob look at the time frame I can't remember exactly what it is but it doesn't seem your defense is relvent to it as I think it was the early 70's you wouldn't have enough of those guns to do that because your italy if nthey even were common enough for anyone to really have but a rare one.

this isnt a completely realistic game you know..

the time frame is 1 day = 1 month.

are you saying i couldnt ship down troops to a already defended coast within a month?

Billybob, figure out how to enable PMs and do it, or else please leave, I'm not liking the mojo I'm getting from 2 settlers that are fresh in this forum on the axis side, I'm smelling plant and that's basically all I'm PMing about, I'm going to be posting what info pertaining to the game is in the PMs so don't fret yo lil head, in the first one I had a good dozen with Skilord and they didn't really detract from the game besides leaving threadspace. Also, underground deals are super sweet

OOC: The USSR is an 'Anti-Axis, non-allied' force here, are allowed to co-operate with the allies? as we're not at war I hardly think it would break the rule about 'no peace treaties'. Anyway:

                          Pravda:

Soviet military forces today entered the territory of the People Republic of Finland, in order to end the barbarous reign of fascism that has been terrorizing the nation.

General Secretary Tacticus has apologised in advance for any foreign casualties that may be incurred in the process.

Soviet High Command has yet to release any details of the success or failure of this operation.

                          * * *

The Soviet Politburo has observed recent developments in Spain and applauds the brave struggle of it's people for freedom from the Axis, though it disapproves of the royalist leanings of the revolutionaries.

General Secretary Tacticus has expressed the hope that once Spain has been freed from it's shackles, it's government and working classes will choose the path of justice and establish a worker's state.

                          * * *

General Secretary Tacticus has condemned the despicable agression committed by the Chinese against the Soviet Union, and called upon the Chinese people to rise up and overthrow the false socialism that would go so far as to attackl it's own brothers.

Soviet troops are already mobilizing to liberate the occupied territories of Eastern Russia, and sources say Chinese troops are already under missile bombardment. No further details have been released.

                          Classified:

Soviet liberation forces deployed into Finland consist of the following:

The II, II & VII Soviet Infantry Corps (300 000 infantry; armed with submachine guns, grenades, mortars, and bazookas, & with enough APCs to carry them all)

The VI Armoured Regiment (900 tanks; mainly T-57 models w/ unguided rocket launchers, heavy main gun & two heavy machine guns; heavy titanium-alloy armour)

The I & IV Soviet Air Force Wings (500 aircraft; new K-11 craft w/ 12 hard-points for missiles & bombs, nose & wing-mounted mounted cannons)

                            Battle Front, Finland

The Soviet commanding general on the Scandinavian front smiled as he read through reports from recon, it appeared that without the Soviet garrisons the whole region was lightly defended. It would be easy prey for his large invasion force.

He gave the order and the whole Soviet war machine gathered here rolled over the border. Here and there they met some resistance, but nothing like enough to halt their advance. The only exception came near the Swedish border, where large German forces had moved in from the opposite direction. Heavy fighting produced a stalemate and bother sides withdrew to a safer distance.

KGB agents followed the army and began their unpleasant duty of rooting out any and all threats to the revolution.

                              Soviet Battle front, Eastern Russia

The Soviets are deploying a massive army to liberate Eastern Russia and punish the Chinese, consisting of:

                              12 infantry corps (1 200 000 men)

                              4 Armoured Divisions (18 000 tanks)

                              3500 self-propelled artillery pieces

                              6 Fighter Wings (1500 planes)

300 strategic bombers (Tu-95MS Bear class)

The Chinese are expecting a swift Soviet counterattack and are prepared accordingly, but they are surprised by it's fierceness when it comes. They are driven back in numerous places all along the line and lose most of their gains. Both sides take heavy casualties.

                                wow great write up!@@@@

heh story teller of the day

The chinese people in 4 major cities heard from the russian leader that they shuold rise up. What they did do was die.

Please dont force me to kill the rebels. They are my own people i dont feel like having any more mass executions.

Finally China's military factories are online.
the new ???mammouth(speeling)??? tanks are being produced at a non comparable rate. Within the month there should be over 700 tanks being produced monthly.

The Chinese airforce is reinforced in the north.

the 5th artillery attachment from china is sent north to harrass russians. There once friend who supplied them with good ole weapons.

Political announcement: The people we extended friendship toward india's leader has been sent back to use with hate and disgust. The indian people wish for love and friendship.

                                News announcement-

China in a daring act has sent 1.4 million foot soldiers, 500 tanks, 200, artillery pieces, 200 Aircraft for support to india/chinese border.

When Journ was asked why he sent the forces. He replied it was only a matter of time till the grumpy old indians tried to hurt our own people in a surprise attack.

The left over chinese fleet goes to india's coast and begins bombarding the many large cities there.
The indians can only gawk at the chinese new battleships.

The troops waiting for SKILORDS imminent attack are scared. They have no support from a navy but hope the italians or germans might send a few ships to the north african front.
Death will come one way or other, its only a matter of when i choose it.
