The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Exile, I'll have a go at making that ship and will post the results either later today or tomorrow.
BTW, what kind of ship is it? Am I correct in guessing that it's a early 20th Century British torpedo destroyer?

DV; I like the vast majority of Nemo's units, but the smaller 20th century ship types are not part of that majority. They look too "boxy." A Fubuki class is too modern for this ship, too.
Case; right you are. It's a very early British Torpedo Boat Destroyer, and the abbreviation of this terminology is where the term, "Destroyer" originated.
Um, while exhorting others to patience, I've proven a little impatient myself and already created the graphic I needed. So . . .
Nevermind.

Would anyone happen to know the Naval Vessels used in the Balkan Wars and which nations had which, I can't find anything on them.
The 1st/2nd Balkan wars of 1912, 1913? A Dutch site by T Kolley seems to have some accurate WWI Turk navy data, including capital ship launch dates: Turk Navy info (Kolley). Make sure you turn your sound down before surfing there...the music sounds like a troop of belly dancers on the doorstep. Another site, tuneless, that may be of more use is Navies of WWI, Turkish
Don't know of anything for the other Balkan navies, though I'd bet that it was limited to armed auxilliary cruisers and smaller craft.

The WWI River monitor. A "monitor" started out as a relatively swift, low-freeboard riverine warship. The famous monitor that fought the Hampden Roads battle with the C.S.S. Virginia is the prototype. But by 1914, the monitor had developed into a substantially larger ship, but not nearly as large as a capital ship, or even an armored cruiser. The later monitors had very large calibre guns, up to 10-inch naval rifles. Here is a pic I located;

and yes, I did see it. But what I'd like to see (what I might even use), is a graphic that simulates the very shallow draft of these riverine vessels. Notice in the photo that the deck of this craft is only a scant foot or two above the waterline. This photo is circa 1915, btw. It's a British ship, and might even be the H.M.S. Erebus (for all I know). Do you think you graphic hot-shots could take a whack at this?
I have ideas about what to do with the results.

I'm currently using a unit graphic for French cavalry that is actually a curiasseur (sp?) type horseman. I need someone to create a late 19th century French cavalryman. I'll include a pic so you can see what they looked like.

I need some help with graphics for a scenario I'm making. I need a paricularly mean looking iron gate (one unit graphic, east corner to west corner), somebody hanging by a chain from a rock outcropping and a really tall, volcanic mountain (preferably taking up 4 spaces). Could somebody tell me where I could find these?

Right, I need a whole scenario worth of units as I couldn't draw using PSP if my life depended on it. I would like as many original units a possible all in a semi-realistic style (ie. not quite nemo style but not hyper-real-photo-like, if you know what i mean ).
Infantry -- Post WW2 Uniforms (as if you couldn't guess )
US Infantry
US Marines
NATO Infantry -- Have NATO logo on sheild or on a flag
UK Royal Marines
Soviet Infantry
Soviet Guard
Arab Infantry
Arab Fanatics -- Arab civillians with cheap arms (look disorganised)
Chinese Infantry
Other Stuff
USS Enterprise -- the aircraft carrier, not star trek
U-2 Spyplane
Tomahawk Missile -- depicted in-flight please
US Chopper Infantry -- A Chinook/Cobra with some US Infantry as well
Soviet Chopper Infantry -- A Mi-17 with some Soviet Infantry
I know that some of these have been done in this thread, but I keep forgetting which ones. If some have already been done please say where but I want them all to match.
If anyone needs some pics to have a unit then I will find some.
Thanks in advance, the talent here is awesome .
