      Ok, Georgetown and Caracas have been given city defenses so the city pop isn't decimated when attacking. I have also eliminated a few of the units that are created for the rogues when signal 5 is killed.

      I have uploaded the changed files.

      Please if anyone knows how to do hex edit please grab this scenario file and edit out the global warming.

      A bunch of changes have been added as per your thoughts. Let me know how they are!

      EDIT: The new files link has been emailed or PM'd to you.

        Just grabbed it...

        The way around decimating the pop. in Georgtown and Caracas was already implemented: I used the escort ships.

        Be right back...

                  Ok, tell you what, I'll redo the events again and have the Axis units pop up around Caracas once Georgetown is taken. I think I'm repeating myself... Well anyways, I'll work on that tonight.

                    Great! It took a whil for them to capture Gerogetown to, but I think that's because I had to many unis around the city. Will use a different tactic next time

                      Actually, a better idea. I'll create two special barb units, non moving boats or something, that will have 0 defense and attack. Once those are destroyed I'll have an axis unit pop up next to the city. Hopefully this will ensure capture. I think this is what curt was hitting on earlier. Thanks Ace!

                        Has anyone had any problems with getting the 2nd batch of files?

                          If you've had problems getting the Atomic.bat batch file to run on Windows XP (I have) - I made a separate pair of batches to use to copy the files and such.

                          For Chapter 2, use Atomic2.bat.

                          I shouldn't have to explain what Atomic3.bat is for

                              Alright folks, I think I have things ironed out. In the zip file in this post is a new events file, rules file (minor adjustment), and the nowarm.sav. Drop these into your Atomic Eagle directory and paste over the files of the same name. This will start you off in the beginning at turn 0 (no scenario fanfare like you would have with a scenario file). There should be no global warming.

                              Capturing Georgetown and Caracas should be no problem. Rather, it's probably going to be a bit to easy, so I might fix things later on. Though that's not important at the moment. Instead I want you guys to continue on to the second chapter so we can start testing the bigger parts of the game.
