You get missionaries based on your domestic policies (usually Narrowmindedness). You would then use the Missionaries button (along side the Diplomacy button above the mini-map) then select a province you own and want to convert. The price of conversion is quite high and I've found it to be not worth it. It's much easier to adjust your religious tolerance levels.

Assuming you mean the relgious tolerance, you click on your National Shield on the left hand side of the screen (it's above where your Victory Points are displayed), then click on the icon that represents your relgion. Christians it'll be a variation of a cross, for Muslims, a cicle, etc."Let us kill the English! Their concept of individual rights could undermine the power of our beloved tyrants!"

I disagree. Adjusting the tolerance levels is only effective if you have 3 or fewer religions within your borders. With more, you get constant revolts at 3 stability.
Note that conversion chances go up in national culture provinces and if you have a garrison at the time of completion.Blog | Civ2 Scenario League | leo.petr at gmail.com

Thanks. Converting is a nice thing - if it succeeds. Austria was so nice to convert quite easily, while Adriatic Catholic Provinces and Shiite Eastern Provinces are still a p-i-t-a.
Hm. I halted my conquers and spend all my money on those dumb missionaries, but when they are almost finished garrison is overhelmed by barbarians and I loose them it seems. I got rid of Austrian problems, but have quite some
in the east, and anyway because I spend so much money on
missions, I have no money for army, and I can't attack no-one though I have a nice opportunity"I realise I hold the key to freedom,

hm. Then, it means that missionaries aren't effective...
Now tell me; do I get some money from my ally?
And is there a possibility of making EU scenarios?
What can You change, then?
I don't mean only obvious things (You know, at least in the central/eastern Europe, cultures, religions, provinces, borders of them are often quite incorrect sometimes...)"I realise I hold the key to freedom,

Missionaries are definitely worth it. You decrease stability cost, rebel risk and you get rid of the -30% modifier to province income.--

The only money get from your allies are when they broker a peace deal involving money - any indemnities payed are split between the menbers of the alliance.
There is a scenario forum over at the official EU forums. Take look - there are some scenarios for download from the same site (here), and more in the works in the scenario forum. St. Leo and the Scenario league here at Apolyton are also doing scenarios...--

I recall downloading some "scenarios" but I don't know exactly where to put them. t seems it is like with early civ stuff, You have to supersede normal files with them... But it's annoiying and I'm afraid that I'll loose some file or roegwt which ones were modified ones..."I realise I hold the key to freedom,

I can understand it sometimes, it may be for strategical reasons (f.e. no-one revolted against Poland in what today is western Ukraine so they made it peacefull Byelorussian,
but it's a bit strange, more obvious choice and correct one would be Polish culture there)
And a little update of my conquests...
Vienna and Rome were conquered again.
Rome is free, but just temporarly as well as shreds of Poland (-Lithuania). Ongoing fight with Oman-Jemen takes place in two-three still free provinces in Oman, I'm having problems with supporting troops there but fight surely will be won."I realise I hold the key to freedom,
