  • A simple question

Could someone explain me in a simple way how do You transport army by ships in EU2 from a shore to a shore?

Move your fleet out of port into a sea tile. Click your army. Move it into your fleet by right-clicking on it. Wait a two weeks or so. When you get the message your army has boarded the fleet, click on your fleet and move it to a sea tile next to the shore you want your army to land. Click the 'Unload Troops' button in your left side of the screen IIRC. Your army will now be selected and you just have to right-click on the province you want your army to land. Perhaps I explained it too simple I don't know.

Or if you have a port in the destination province, just move the fleet to that port after the army has boarded. The army will unboard automatically after the fleet has docked.

I already learned it, thanks. I had problems with my empire,
as I had some enclaves (Estonia, Sinope, Morea and Smyrna) that could not be reachable by any other way but by sea and they were under barbarian attack.

Although - if you do this keep in mind that your army cannot retreat to a fleet in harbour. If you are e.g. landing troops in Rhodes to fight rebels and lose the army will be annihilated (learned the hard way )

Estonia? What are you doing there? Looking at Smyrna and Morea you are a mediterranean power.

                  And here is mine
Well I am. But Baltic/Black Sea empire too
Eventually I had to resign of this game however. My empire
had 50% inflation and I didn't know how to fight it.
                  How to change that?
Right now I'm playing Turkey; My empire stretches from Switzerland to Persia. Venice has fallen bu later resurrected and is my vassal now, Austria is limited to (once captured)
Vienna. Egypt is limited to its capital too. Right now I started conquering Lithuania. I love this game

                    1. Set your monthly income to zero. That's your primary cause of corruption.

                    2. Always pay the 100 ducats for not getting an extra 10% inflation.

                    3. Build governors when you get the right infrastructure level.

I do that and it doesn't seem to get any better.
Well, I have no gouvernors yet.

                          And a question;
how do You send settlers and convert provinces?
Perhaps that would help me. Austria iand Adriatic provinces are in constant fight against me even if my stabillity is high?

You can only convert provinces with settlers if they have less than 500-600 people. Otherwise you have to use expensive missionaries. That's why I only try to conquer provinces of my religion or of my culture if reasonably possible.

How do I create missionaries, then?
