Tommy Vercetti's comments are quite funny. The story line and cut scenes are quite well done.

I need a new computer... I still have to make do with GTA1/2.
(Then again, I haven't "completed" either of them, yet )

The fact that you can actually furnish your home and acquire a wardrobe over the course of the game certainly seems like a nice touch, though
        How does this work?

I heard there were bugs. (You can get shot through walls. You can lose a mission because your partner broke his ankle running down a ramp.) Any truth to it??

Nope.I havn't been shot thru a wall.In fact sneaking along walls and such with the sniper rifle is a good technique is most missions.
There are a few missions where you have "partners".If they get hurt or killed it may jeopardize the mission but I wouldn't call that a bug.

The only "bug" I have noticed is sometimes(twice in 50 odd hours) you may loose a certain weapon after saving.Like you save and now you have no UZI anymore.Just means another journey to a weapons shop or cache.

You can buy many properties in this version. Each property has a save after you own it.Saving is a snap.Never more than a few blocks away.AND,you can save right outside your current mission most times.

You do get new outfits to choose and use as you progress.Aside the police uniform, they don't seem to do anything other than looks.Oh ya,there is one early mission where you need a golf get up to go the golf course and do a hit.

I have no idea about furnishings.Havn't come across that yet.

I've completed it, and I've not acquired any furniture. Some things have changed at my main hideout, but nothing especially big.

Did you do anything unusual to beat "The Driver"?.That mission is very difficult.....

                  I don't think I've done that mission.

Then you havn't completed it have you?

Its one of the "Malibu Club" missions. You are organizing a bank heist and you need a driver. You have to beat this guy called Hillary in a totally outclassed car.Near impossible without.......

I didn't bother buying the Malibu Club. Too expensive. I'm sure I'll go back to do the missions sometime.

Trading my flightsimulator joystick with a "playstation 2 lookalike-joystick" with a mate.

Now, do you understand my complaints about playing GTAIII?!

I finished all the missions in GTA3 except the final one. I formatted my HD. Should I reinstall GTA3 and play all the missions again? Is experiencing the final mission worth it?

Vice City looks like fun, and is on my list of games to look out for.
/me is playing GTA3 at the moment.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

lol..I am also playing GTA3 again. This time on PS2.I like it very much control wise.I'm just not handy with pc game controls most times.

YES.The last mission is great.Quite difficult as far as GTA goes.

I can't find a darn ice cream truck anywhere since the early mission with one.Its getting rather frustrating.

Overall I think 3 is more "polished" than VC but VC is very good..Cant wait for the next one.

In GTA3, a good way to find cars that aren't normally prevalent is to do firetruck missions. A car is chosen at random, you go and put the fire out and if it is the car you want, you can then grab it. If it isn't, then the next random car on fire just might be. Its a shame you can't get the dodo this way though.
