(Temples usually don't sell Mark and Recall, instead selling Divine or Alsimvi Intervention.)
believe that Sadrith Mora is a Telvanni city anyway correct?

Yup, but it's extremely easy to travel there since there's a Mage's Guild at Wolverine Hall (so you can teleport there for a couple gold pieces, rather than having to make multiple trips via boat and/or silt strider). Also, most Telvanni towns are pretty short on the way of independent services, whereas Sadrith Mora is just swarming with independent mages, blacksmiths, apothecaries, etc.

      • so how much of the world have you seen loin?

I just decided to start the game over, I'm using a Nord Warrior. Should level up really easily, all of his major and minor skills are weapon, armour, or athletic based.

I'm going to keep in mind the tip about the luck though, every level a point is going there!

        • I've finished the main quest, as well as every faction's quests except for Redoran and Hlaalu (can't do those since I'm a Telvanni) and the Imperial Legion's (I got tired of having to change out of my kickass Daedric armor every time I wanted to work on a Legion quest). I've also completed every Daedric quest except for Molag Bal's (whose shrine I have yet to locate). As a result I've been to every city several times, have seen nearly everything of interest inside the Ghostfence (primarily due to the main quest), and have been to quite a few of the more remote locations in the game. (I never became a vampire, and I don't know if it's even possible to become a vampire anymore at this point in the game since I'm immune to all diseases. Also, I've already wiped out two vampire clans, so even if I became a vampire I wouldn't have much to do). Currently I'm trying to see how high of a bounty I can accumulate--I'm up to 500,000 GP, and still have several more cities to scour.

          • So Loin I take it you really don't like this game, nor would you recommend it.

              • This one's heading that way.

Ok, I think it's time to ask for a few spoilers. Shame, I know, but hey.

Fighter's Guild quest: debt money from Lirielle Stoine. I found her dead brother, but this didn't seem to trigger any new dialogue. Any suggestions?

Redoran Quest: dealing with the mudcrab problem. The directions to the guar herder's house ("leave Ald'ruhn for Gnisis. When you reach the hills, take first left fork, then first right. Herder is almost due west of Ald'ruhn") are a little too vague. Where the devil is she?

I'm sure I have another question regarding one of the first three legion quests (I won the battle of wits, and reckon I just need to walk past/kill the guard in the blighted egg-mine - soon as I get a cure target of Blight scroll...), but I'll remember it some other time. And, of course, the disappearance of the dwarves quest is interesting, but I hope Edwinna will help me with that.

Incidentally, levelling in Fighters and Mages guilds now looks really tricky, due to lack of use of main Magic skill (I'm now using a destruction training spell), and lack of depth in Fighters guild skills (I'm buying training in Blunt). However, Legion (with Long, Block, Athletics) and Redoran (with Long, Block, Athletics, Medium) should be doable...

No, I didn't really care for it. I only spent about a hundred hours on it. If I really like a game then I'll spend at least three or four hundred hours on it, but Morrowind just didn't make the cut.

Just talk to the quest giver (I forget if it's Eydis or that Orc fellow) and give him/her the money. Incidentally, you didn't even need to collect the money from Lirielle's brother, nor did you need to even talk to Lirielle--you just needed to give the quest-giver their money.

                    • Ah. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't have to be too out of pocket. 2k is a reasonable amount of cash for me. Still, once I've sold the stuff sitting in Gnisis, and picked up the 1k bounty for the latest contract, it shouldn't be too bad.

                      Incidentally, it's the orc.

                      • Whaaa.. I spent whole morning searching for that mark spell, and it surely aint common. I went trough all Mage guilds a few days earlier, and this morning trough all Telvanni cities all in vain but I picked up a few keys from Fry's treasure chests... what do they open? And will I have to confront him if I open those whatever it is? - he said no, but just to check, he seems like a nice enough guy who I wouldn't really want to kill .

Along the way I killed some lonsome orcish warrior and got a kick a$$ long sword, so far the most expensive weapon I found, however I think I will spend some of that new found money after I find that bleeding mark spell, on long sword training, as I am almost 0 in it - short sword -99.

Btw I had to use my super duper frost killa amulet for that warrior as he was too tough to kill by conventional means. Guy had twice as much health as ordinators I'd say. Or even a bit more than that. And while going around the telvanni mansion in Vivec (yes I was there too ) I tried to use my super killa fros amulet, - kills in 50 ft , I thought that there was noone around, nbut I actually kiled 5 other ppl behind the walls etc . Anyway I had to restart.

Can't wait to get to halls of justice millions walk there

Anyway - to end the story, at the end i decided that was enough searching, and went to find help by convencional means - in other words Google, and guess where is the spell.

Ok I won't tell you if some of you still find it fun searching, but to give you a tip. It is in one of the temples.

Do all temple folks hate you, as I am the Nevarine and Ordinator killa now (but no bounty on my name). I haven't got yet to buy the spell, but if it comes to worst, I guess that a good calm humanoid spell could help with some telvanni bug mask? Any experiences? To buy the spell of some temple bloke.

I will see if i manage to get it tonight. And the Creeper is a cool 1/2 millionare now.

                        Bet he is happy

                        • One thing I like to do by recalling back to Creeper. Is if I'm in a shrine or something, I will go through the whole thing and make a pile of loot. Then I'll load up the pile and recall back to Creeper.

I did this in one of the vampire strongholds, and really loaded up, with ebony and daedric items, fun! I also found out the importance of an item I made, it was a ring of night eye with constant effect. It's really quiet dark in those vampire strongholds!

                          • OFITG: I liked the Umbra sword a lot, but hated the fact that I couldn't use a shield with it equipped. Block is such a kickass skill in Morrowind that I had to find myself a Katana and sell the Umbra Sword. (Fortunately, Goldbrand is just such a katana...)

                            • Whats the stats on the Umbra Sword.

I found a Deadric Dai-Katanna, with the upper damage on the best attack being 60.

                              • I think that the best attack is 50, but well nothing can come close to spells.

Anyway, I am setup now for the second part of the game, consider this as a break point. I have decided to beef up Creeper, put a Mark spell in front of him, and already I am almost 1/2 millionaire

now I am thinking of leaving all apart from useful enchanted items and finish the game... and start a new character next.

But it will be a while to do all this still...
