    Off-topic a bit for a moment if I may ...

Has anybody tried this out on a system with minimum specs? My current machine is actually a 450MHz which is 50 below spec but everything else meets the min req's.
Getting a new machine will take another month or two but I'd like to give it a go on my current PC first.
    cheers

Re: Fargoth - I talked to the Flat-Foot about the quest, but declined to help him. Any time I speak to him now, he just says "If only I could find out where it is", or something of that ilk.

I'm a level 20 fighter, who is basically a walking god at this point. Actually, the game got really boring for me with all this power.

Anyway, I didn't need any levels of enchant, because they'll enchant for cash at the mage's store just remember:

        1)Get reaction up to 100/100
2)You can sell your weapons for gold after the enchantment is done. So be sure to bring some expensive weapons you won't need.

The only problem is you need about 30K to get started.

Rav, I've got a 1Ghz PIII with a 32MB GF2Go (GeForce 2 MX) card, with the rest of the suggested specs met, and it runs at about 9fps outdoors on occasion. That's actually still playable though, and I wish I knew what fps the two fights that I've had outside were running at, but they were playable. I get about 35-50fps in doors.

I recommend the game whole-heartedly, but I doubt it'll run well on the min specs.

Cygnus, so I need to have the two enchantment numbers equal? I'm pretty sure I should be able to enchant things myself by now.

Also, is there anywhere I can sell about 100,000 gold worth of weapons? Or even just a single 16,000 or 20,000 piece for close to full price? I don't know of anywhere more than 5,000.

Btw, I'm a level 18 BattleMage, and I still have problems with things like Ordinators, Imperial guards, and some of those mages in the Telvanni places at least. Do you have problems like that?

Irun the game entirely on minimum specs, except for one.

My video card only has 16 meg of ram.

I had to do some tweaking, like turning off the sound and running it in a window, but the game runs pretty well for me.

The slowest part of the whole game was the very beginning, when you create your character.

My character is level 31, btw.

                    • I can't kill them before they kill me. =( Any help on the selling of 20,000gp weapons though?

Edit: Cygnus, I can't find that trader. Any details I may be missing? How far off of that road is he? How far from each city? Thank you!

                      • For liquidating expensive items I normally go to an enchanter, they tend to have allright money.. 2,000 or so. Then I sell the expensive item and get the money as well as a bunch of less expensive items, and then I sell the less expensive items else where. Kind of a pain, but that's part of the game.

Well, I did do it with the Robes of St. Roris. Which practically make you invincible before the patch.

                          • Uh no, i can't say any of those groups are out for my blood. Well, I know thatt if you're caught wearing an ordinator armor even once it is really bad news.

In any event, it's Pedamine the trader, or something like that. Search for her somehwere north of caldera (maybe a bit North-east, moreso than west...?)

The merchant is a black women (are Redguards the only black people...?) and she'll be wearing shiny boots. She'll also beg to be taken to Gnarr Mok. I ran into her when I did the quest with the Naked Barbarian.

Oh yeah, and she's not off the beaten path, so make sure to stay on roads.

                            • is there any place in Balmora where i can sell moon sugar and skooma?

btw, i started over, i picked the wrong skills, now i'm a Kajit, with major skills in Security, Sneak, Short Blade, and some others i forgot....i just got to Balmora, after clearing out the cave in Seyda Neen, and finding Fargoth's stash
<Kassiopeia> you don't keep the virgins in your lair at a sodomising distance from your beasts or male prisoners. If you devirginised them yourself, though, that's another story. If they devirginised each other, then, I hope you had that webcam running.

You can sell them to the Kajit at the Mage's Guild. (I forget her name, but she's the only Kajit there.) Also, look around the Thief's Guild at the South Wall Corner Club, there's bound to be somebody there buying moon sugar and skooma.
