I'd almost totally stopped playing in favour of games like civ2, and now, thanks to that same civ2, I again play a chess game. Maybe that someone, somewhere is making some design ...

You are quite right indeed. So far all the contestants have proved worthy of trust, but one one should always imagine, while making rules, that the worst can happen.
My suggestion : "if a player does not play a move for a week or does not excuse himself in advance for his silence, he forfeits the game. If one repeatidly slows down the game, he could be, after a warning, disqualified". Does it sound fair to you ?

Good queen moves ? I’m not sure. It looked pretty so I couldn’t stop myself from playing it. But it’s either brillant or stupid, because 10 Qd4 and 10 Rg1 were simple and good.
